Daily linac QA in one indexed device
Daily QA™ 4 Pro from Sun Nuclear simplifies daily machine QA by combining dosimetry, Winston-Lutz and imaging/positioning checks into a single indexed, imageable device. The approach reduces phantom swaps, room entries and setup variability.
What it consolidates in morning QA
- Dose constancy, field size, flatness, symmetry, beam shape, penumbra and dose per pulse.
- Flatness and symmetry fields from 2×2 cm to 20×20 cm, and dose constancy from 5×5 cm to 20×20 cm.
- Integrated active Winston-Lutz measurement, without switching to a dedicated phantom.
- Imaging and positioning checks, including CBCT, kV/kV, MV/MV and SGRT verification support.
SunCHECK v6.0+ integration
Automated data capture, consistent documentation and centralised reporting require SunCHECK v6.0 or higher. The configuration can be designed for local/departmental use or for an enterprise architecture, depending on the hospital’s infrastructure and QA workflow.
This distinction matters in proposals: the device performs the integrated measurements, but the automation level depends on the installed SunCHECK version and architecture.
