CaliberMRI – premium quantitative MRI phantom
The CaliberMRI Premium System Phantom is the Model 130 phantom in the System family, developed by CaliberMRI in collaboration with NIST/ISMRM to support quantitative MRI work.
Typical use
Suitable for teams that need a comprehensive physical reference for quantitative MRI protocols, performance comparison and quality-control workflows, while validating local compatibility, protocols and clinical use for each project.
Key points
- Publicly identified by CaliberMRI as the Premium System Phantom Model 130, or "NIST/ISMRM" Premium System Phantom.
- The official page lists 14 T1 mimics, 14 T2 mimics and 14 proton-density mimics, with a 231 mm diameter.
- The construction includes 56 fiducial spheres, T1 and T2 arrays, a proton-density array, a resolution insert and a 10 degree wedge for slice profile work.
- CaliberMRI references B1/B0 characterization, geometric linearity, gradient amplitude, slice positioning, resolution, SNR and T1, T2 and PD measurements.
- The source mentions an LC MR-readable thermometer for temperature standardization between 15 and 24 degrees Celsius during scanning.
