The new RTM 2200 Soil Gas is the ultimate tool for fast, accurate, and reliable in-situ radon gas measurement (EN ISO 11665-11) with a single touch. The implemented sampling cycle includes determining soil permeability and purging the chamber with fresh air at the end of the measurement. A water ingress protection shuts off the pump in case of accidental groundwater suction. The integrated GPS receiver facilitates subsequent mapping of sampling points.
The principle of true alpha spectroscopy over the entire measuring range makes the instrument the first choice for soil gas measurements.
The advantages at a glance:
Fastest possible response and decay time; no lag times
No thoron interference (Rn-220 - will be measured separately)
No long-term Po-210 contamination even with continuous measurements at high radon concentrations. The unit comes in a very robust and practical case for use in harsh environmental conditions. A signal light on the top of the case indicates the end of a measurement or warns of very low soil permeability.
The powerful dVISION software provides all functions for data management, including viewing the results on the integrated map (based on Google™) as well as exporting to CSV or KML files.
Naturally, all functions required for typical applications (long-term and short-term measurements, search for entry routes, radon in water or radon exhalation) are implemented in the RTM 2200.
Additional options:
TDR probe for simultaneous measurement of soil moisture as another important parameter for assessing radon potential
CO2 and CH4 sensors integrated into the internal air circuit. The instrument comes with a DAkkS-compliant calibration certificate. The calibration process meets the requirements of DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018.
