This phantom simulates a head with contrast medium in the arterial phase (CT angiography).
It includes the neck and upper chest up to the aortic arch and the fifth thoracic vertebra. The vertex is represented up to approximately 0.5 cm below skin level.
The thoracic section of the phantom excludes the shoulder and back areas, which are not typically part of CT angiography (CTA) testing.
