Comprehensive electrical safety testing to global standards with the ESA620: the preferred test tool for IEC60601-1 compliance. The ESA620 Electrical Safety Analyzer represents excellence in manual preventive maintenance quality for biomedical technicians and clinical engineers testing medical equipment. With selections of three test loads, protective earth test currents, and two insulation test voltages, this versatile product can be used worldwide to test to the standard of your choice. Equipped with ten ECG stations, the ESA620 simulates ECG waveforms and performance so electrical safety testing and basic testing on patient monitors can be performed with a single connection. This complete electrical safety analyzer comes with test leads for 2-wire protective earth measurements and, with optional leads, offers the time-saving 4-wire technique. Additionally, the 25-amp device jack allows testing of devices that require it, so the technician is not limited to testing only 15-amp equipment. (U.S. only) New DSP technology provides improved leakage measurement accuracy across all standard-specified ranges, and an intuitive interface guides the user through testing. The ESA620 features a large display for quick and clear indication of the tests performed, criteria associated with the test setup, device-under-test jack conditions, and results. The unit is equipped with a standard USB interface for computer control and data transfer. When used with the optional Ansur Plug-in computer-based software, the ESA620 allows for standardization of test procedures as well as the capture, storage, and printing of results reports. When combined with Ansur, the ESA620 can be automated, capturing results and comparing them to standard limits, essentially enabling this handheld unit to perform the sophisticated performance of high-end electrical safety equipment at half the price.
