Operational radiation protection for hospitals, industry and emergency response
Thermo Scientific instruments for detection, monitoring, survey and identification of ionising radiation.
Selection should start with the scenario: dose rate, contamination, identification, personal dose or operational response.

Choose by scenario, not by model list
Dose-rate measurement
For rounds, area checks, incident response and operational control.
Alpha, beta and gamma
Portable monitors for surfaces, filters, objects and radiation protection routines.
Know which radionuclide is present
RIIDs and spectroscopic detectors when the decision depends on source identification.
Electronic personal dose
EPDs for teams needing alarms, immediate readings and operational exposure control.
Common Thermo Scientific families

RadEye B20 / B20-ER
Portable alpha/beta/gamma contamination monitor for radiation protection.

How we define the configuration
- Radiation and energy: alpha, beta, gamma, neutrons, contamination or ambient dose.
- Use case: hospital routine, laboratory, industry, emergency response or security.
- Operation: alarms, robustness, calibration, accessories, batteries and documentation.
Thermo Scientific FAQ
Does RadEye B20 cover every use case?
No. It is useful for contamination, but dose-rate survey, neutrons or spectroscopic identification need other models.
Do FH 40 and RadEye compete?
Not always. They usually solve different scenarios: survey/dose rate, contamination or personal monitoring.
Need to turn an open requirement into the right detector?
Send us the use case, radiation type and internal standard. We will recommend the correct family.
