The instrument will not be affected by any temperature and humidity variation, external radiation, mechanical shock or vibration. Two AAA batteries are sufficient for several months of autonomous operation.
These characteristics, as well as the additional integrated sensors for temperature, humidity, barometric pressure and CO2 (both optional), make the Radon Scout Professional the ideal choice for short and long-term radon sampling, as well as for personal dosimetry. The fast and statistically accurate measurement allows – in combination with the optional switching output – direct control of ventilation systems to maintain the statutory radon threshold.
Like all SARAD devices, the instrument can be calibrated. All results are stored in non-volatile memory and can be read via the USB interface.
Only high-quality components are used for the Radon Scout Professional, which is manufactured at our location in Dresden.
The instrument is supplied with a calibration certificate in accordance with DAkkS. The calibration process complies with the requirements of DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018.
