The stereotactic calibration module of AlignRT® allows clinics to offer the benefits of frameless SRS (stereotactic radiosurgery) and SBRT/SABR (stereotactic body radiotherapy) with open mask, using SGRT (surface guided radiation therapy).
To achieve the precision required for SRS, both an open mask (provided by various companies) and the SRS calibration cube (provided by Vision RT) are necessary. The module enables a variety of quality assurance tests – TG142 (linear accelerator) and TG147 (non-radiographic imaging).
The tests include: end-to-end localization evaluation, hidden target test, localization displacement accuracy, inter-modality image coordinate coincidence, image positioning/repositioning, laser alignment, Winston-Lutz, couch rotation isocenter accuracy.
