A recent study demonstrated that SimRT was 3 times more accurate than a physical surrogate method for predicting tumor motion with 4DCT. SimRT showed more accurate and stable respiratory tracking, leading to more realistic 4DCT reconstruction and breathing-adapted treatment planning.
