Diacor Zephyr: patient positioning and transfer for radiation therapy and imaging
Interphysix is the official representative of Diacor in Portugal and Spain. Diacor (founded in 1983) manufactures the Zephyr system — the first patient transfer system designed specifically for radiation oncology.
Zephyr uses patented air-cushion (“hoverboard”) technology to move the patient across simulation, imaging and treatment while maintaining the same position with submillimeter accuracy — reducing repositioning, setup errors and workflow time.

What is the Zephyr system?
Zephyr transfers the patient “on air” over an air cushion, preserving the alignment established at imaging or simulation all the way to treatment, with no manual repositioning.

Moves the patient on an air cushion between tables and devices, without repositioning.

Maintains alignment from imaging/simulation to treatment, reducing setup errors.
