The Fluke Biomedical 452R is a rugged handheld radiation survey meter built for demanding field environments. It combines the 452 family measurement approach with enhanced durability, IP65 protection and drop resistance while keeping operation straightforward.
The instrument combines a silicon sensor cluster with a Geiger-Muller pancake detector and supports model/lid configurations for air kerma, ambient dose equivalent and count measurements.
Key features:
- Measures alpha, beta, gamma and X-ray radiation in one portable instrument.
- Fast response and high sensitivity, from background levels to high radiation levels.
- IP65 protection, -20 to +50 C operating range and typical 1-meter drop resistance.
- Up to 100 hours of battery life, stored measurements and dose-rate logging.
- RaySafe View compatibility for remote display, analysis and data export.
