Large air gaps between the coil and phantom can result in distorted images and artifacts. This phantom is the largest available for modern medium-sized phased array head coils, fitting comfortably within the machine for high quality imaging.
Versatile and easy to use
The ACR MRI Accreditation Medium Phantom was developed for simplified and convenient workflows. With this simulator, you can now use the same MRI coil to acquire simulator images and for the necessary technologist quality control, eliminating the extra handling and setup time required to complete both tasks separately.
A refill kit included with extra fluid adds convenience if air bubbles are encountered – no need to send for maintenance. A bubble level is also provided to facilitate phantom alignment with the scanner bore.

The ACR MRI Accreditation Medium Phantom is approved for MRI scanner accreditation in the Magnetic Resonance Accreditation Program (MRAP).
