All Detective instruments base their superior performance on ORTEC cryogenically cooled HPGe (high purity germnate) detectors coupled with unique identification algorithms developed by from an original Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Technology Transfer License (TL-01754-03 and TL-01753-03) and improved based on current field experience.
