The head support interface for low-density, S-shaped baseplates is made from carbon fiber laminate, ensuring stability and patient comfort. This carbon fiber laminate version of the Plate Adapter converts a base plate for U-shaped thermoplastic head and neck masks with push pins (so-called ‘S’ type base plates) into a base plate that will accept Orfit high-precision head supports with cranial stop, increasing reproducibility of the patient’s head position.
